What is peanut butter?
As it is known today, peanut butter was invented by the American physician and vegetarian pioneer Dr John Harvey Kellogg in 1894 as a nutritious and easily digested health food for his patients. Despite its name, peanut butter contains no butter or other dairy products.
Peanut butter normally contains peanuts, salt and sometimes emulsifier.
